Project Overview
Cargo City is a 25 ha integrated cargo and logistics zone within the Luzon International Premiere Airport Development (LIPAD) Corp’s 759 ha Clark AeroDistrict. It is strategically located near Clark International Airport Terminal 2, existing cargo capacity, and the planned Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC)-developed National Food Hub.
The Proponent
LIPAD has operated Clark International Airport since 2019 under a 25-year Bases and Conversion Development Authority (BCDA) concession, with shareholders including Filinvest, JG Summit, and Changi Airports Philippines.
Highlights
Cargo throughput exceeded 48,000 tons in H1 2026, up 10% year-on-year, while ~160 ha of existing leasable area nears full utilization. UPS, FedEx, and Lufthansa Technik are committing capital to expand at Clark, signaling strong tenant demand ahead of formal procurement.
The Opportunity
LIPAD is seeking expressions of interest from investment and development partners for renewable 20-year leases, ahead of completion of the Cargo City master plan by year-end 2026.
