Project Overview
The North Integrated Transport System (North ITS) is a proposed multimodal terminal consolidating provincial bus operations north of Metro Manila into one hub that links to the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR), making it a feeder node for the Manila-Clark passenger corridor.
The Proponent
The Department of Transportation (DOTr) is the implementing agency, with the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center providing early preparation funding.
Highlights
The project’s value scales with the completion of the NSCR, as it links provincial bus services to the broader passenger corridor. The DOTr has successfully executed similar projects under the same framework, including the Parañaque and Taguig City Integrated Terminal Exchanges.
The Opportunity
The DOTr is seeking expressions of interest from investors in preparation for the launch of PPP tender. A feasibility study is currently under DOTr review, with the site narrowed to Quezon City, Valenzuela, or Caloocan. Cost estimates and PPP structure are still being finalized.
