Project Overview
The project develops a 10 ha aviation and aerospace education and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) training hub within Clark Civil Aviation Complex (CCAC), adjacent to Clark International Airport (CRK). The campus includes a flight operations center, technical simulation facilities, and an aviation research laboratory to meet growing demand for advanced pilot, technician, and cabin crew training.
The Proponent
Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) is the lead implementing agency, supported by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).
Highlights
A 10 ha site adjacent to the CRK runway is available for a 99-year lease to construct the new facility. The project allows for a low-capital-expenditure pilot investment in existing flight schools to establish proof of concept before scaling investment.
The Opportunity
CIAC is seeking unsolicited proposals and welcomes private sector-led initiatives to enter into a Public-Private Partnership (PPP).
